Today is international “Use Less Stuff” day which I found to be a really appropriate topic for entrepreneurs!
This is going to be a touchy subject, and for good reason.
Because most entrepreneurs are stressed out that they just don’t have the ‘right stuff’
- They don’t have the right website.
- They don’t have the right WordPress plugins.
- They don’t have the right “Hollywood Voice”.
- They don’t have the fancy website design.
- They don’t have the “six and seven figure” website copy.
- They don’t have the best widgets, software, apps, or tools.
I Propose That You Already Have Everything You Need.
Decluttering your life, both as an entrepreneur and as a human, can bring about tremendous benefits.
You don’t need the latest and greatest to share your message with the world.
It’s as easy as getting a free blog setup on Medium, Steemit, Quora, WordPress, Tumblr, or any of the other awesome blogging platforms.
Sure, it never hurts to have the snazziest or latest webinar marketing platform, that helps, no doubt.
Or maybe you want to have a really beautiful homepage, an awesome sales letter that sparkles and glistens, or the latest and greatest green screen backdrop so you can make your videos look more professional.
However Never Forget That These Are Subjects Of Tactics, And Not Strategy
Your strategy will always be more important than your tactics.
So ask yourself, what is your overall strategy as an entrepreneur?
Who do you want to help, how can you help them, and how are you going to improve the lives of your end users?
These are the core essential questions to always be brainstorming among yourself, your team, and even your colleagues.
Once You Can Answer These Questions, You’ll Probably Realize That You Can Get By With Much Less.
You’ll rely less upon the fanciest software and plugins, and you’ll focus more on helping people.
Which, is always your main goal as an entrepreneur.
Thank you so much for checking this out, on this November 16, “Use Less Stuff” day.
This has been Mike DeVincent of MrComputerScience.com, and I’m signing off.
