​The first step, and this is the most important thing, is to always ask yourself who you want to serve; ask yourself, who is your ideal prospect, and how can you help them?

If you can answer that simple, yet direly crucial question, then everything you do is going to be so much easier.

​Why Knowledge Of Your End User Is Always The Most Important Step:

  • ​Because you’ll know exactly what type of lead magnets you need to make in order to attract your perfect subscriber.
  • ​You’ll know exactly what types of newsletter content you should be writing that speaks directly to the core frustrations of your audience.
  • ​You’ll know exactly what types of offers that your end users might find helpful.
  • You’ll know exactly how to research your end user demographic on websites like Quora, because you’ll know the keywords that your ideal prospects are searching for.
  • Finally, you’ll know the exact tone you should be writing your content in, because you’ll have a profound understanding of your end users.
    That’s why I’m always ranting about how important it is to know your audience like the back of your hand.

​Spend Time Around Your End Users.

​Spend time asking them questions, inviting them to ask you questions, and also checking them out on social media, and websites like Quora.

The more you interact with, and spend time helping your ideal prospects, the more content ideas you’re going to have.

I’ve personally been asked so many questions by students and subscribers, that I now have nonstop content ideas that I can write about.

I also spend a ton of time researching on Quora to find out what questions people are asking relevant to the marketing niche.

​Pay Close Attention To Any Questions That Your Leads, Customers, Students Or Prospects Ask!

​And every single time one of your subscribers, or one of your prospects asks a question, a light-bulb should go off super brightly in your mind; because these are the same exact content ideas that your audience would love for you to write about in your newsletter!

And you know this for a fact to be true, because the question came from the very mind of your ideal prospect, or even your existing subscriber.

That’s why I’m always asking my subscribers what frustrations they’re having, and why I’m inviting you to ask me questions, so that I can create better content that’s more targeted.

​The Best Advice I Can Give You...

​So, my advice is to start off on the right foot.

Know who you want to serve, and how you can help them.

Know the questions they ask, so that you can create amazing content that helps them tremendously.

That one idea will make sure that your email newsletter, and arguably all of your content is based off the perfect strategy, and it’s taken me a super long time to finally realize this!
