It All Starts With Your Very First Email Subscriber!
After the very moment you get your first email subscriber, your job then becomes to HELP your email subscribers as best you can.
The more you help, the more your subscribers are going to remember you.
When that happens, especially over the long-haul, your subscribers are going to appreciate you, recognize you, open your emails, and of course, click on stuff that you recommend.
So, in short, the number one way to get more email clicks, is to continually provide awesome content.
That way, your subscribers will compile, your goodwill will be ample, and your email subscribers will truly appreciate you.
It All Starts Right Here, Right Now!
Please, let me give you a really awesome example. That example, is to help people! Be cool to them!
This is the best long-term, evergreen strategy to get people clicking on your stuff, it’s when they know you, like you, and trust you.
Whenever someone asks a question, I have always exerted a ton of effort to help them!
I’m not saying I’m the smartest cookie on the planet, however, I blatantly try my best to help ANYONE who ever asks, especially if they’re an email subscriber.
This has resulted in many long-term subscribers staying subscribed for a ridiculously long amount of time.
So, Try Your Best To Be The Coolest Person That Your Subscriber Ever Connects With Online!
Even if this sounds out of reach, don’t let it stop you from being the most helpful person that you can be.
After building an email list, and email marketing for many years, being HELPFUL is truly the number one way to build a better, more wholesome email newsletter following, period.
I’m always ranting and raving, and BEGGING other email marketers to ask their email subscribers questions. Not only that, but arguably more importantly, invite your subscribers to ASK YOU questions!
This is genius for a few different reasons.
First of all, if your email list is REPLYING to your emails, you’re going to be whitelisted in a bunch of different inboxes out there, so you’ll have a much lower chance of landing in the spam box.
Second, your email subscribers are going to appreciate, and recognize you infinitely more if you spend time helping them.
Third, and most importantly – if your subscribers take the time to ASK for your help, you’ll be able to deliver content that speaks directly to their frustration, desires, demands, and fears.
This, on top of the fact that you’ll know exactly what type of solutions your subscribers need. In other words, your offers, promotions, content, and all communications can be engineered from a position of power, because you know exactly what your audience needs.
Also Remember To Never Stop Growing Your Email List!
Everything I do online is designed to generate leads, and add more email subscribers.
- Launching tiny little products on different forums.
- Launching Kindle books, often times giving them away for free during their launch. (I’ve published 40+ books).
- Teaching dozens of online courses.
- Creating over a dozen different lead magnets.
- Building three different blog tribes.
- Running a cool Pinterest Group Board.
- Studying the world of Solo Ads like my life was on the line!
When you combine the strategy of honestly trying to be super helpful to your audience, with the notion that you should be generating leads through all of your activities, then you’ll never have to worry about your click through rates ever again.
Because your audience is going to love your content, because you’ll be recognized as someone who is super helpful, and someone who actually GIVES A DAMN!
That my friend, is the master secret, to having not only awesome click through rates, but also, an email list that can last a lifetime.
A Small Note About Split Testing And Data…
One cool thing about writing a big autoresponder series, is that you get all that data.
That data can be tremendously helpful when trying to increase your open rates, and click through rates.
So, pay attention to which emails spike!
Which emails get more opens, clicks, leads, and sales?
Keep your eye on your data! In my opinion, it’s one of the most important parts of your email marketing strategy.
Also remember… That click through rates aren’t everything!
I would much rather have an email with a LOW click through rate that produces sales, than a high click through rate that produces no sales.
So, be a practiced keeper of your data, because it will tell a better story than just about anything else.
